The I-VickyMends Foundation as part of its mandate to assist widows and underprivileged children in society on Saturday, August 15 extended its kind gesture to the Takoradi branch of the Shatta Wale Movement Fanbase.
Dubbed ‘Taadi SM Fanbase’, I-VickyMends Foundation donated assorted items to the Axim Government Hospital, Children’s Ward to be precise, as part of activities marking its 2nd anniversary.
The items included gallons of liquid soap, hand sanitizers, boxes of baby wipes, toilet tissues, Veronica buckets, packs of bottled water, among others.
The event drew members of the fanbase across the country to join the celebration.
Presenting the items on behalf of the team, Troy Nathaniel expressed excitement about the bond they have created for the past two years and how they have been able to put together this celebration successfully.
“The SM Fanbase is not always about having fun but also have the passion to assist the needy,” he said.
He also extended his sincerest appreciation to the management of the Axim Government Hospital as well all stakeholders who in diverse ways supported this worthy cause.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Axim Government Hospital, the Assistant Administrator for the Hospital, Samuel Obeng Asare, expressed his profound gratitude to the Taadi SM Fanbase for their tremendous support in these trying times.
On her part, Founder of I-VickyMends Foundation Victoria Nana Amoh said: “It always comes with joy to extend a helping hand to the vulnerable in society and that’s what the Foundation is about, putting smiles on the faces of the needy afflicted in society.”
