In a significant step toward advancing Ghana’s climate agenda, Eklips Investment Ghana Limited, a leading firm in trade facilitation, consulting, brokerage, and fundraising, has extended its support to the Office of the Minister of State for Climate Change and Sustainability. The company, known for its expertise in fostering international partnerships between African nations, foreign governments, and multinational firms, continues to demonstrate its commitment to Ghana’s development and global sustainability efforts.

Led by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr Abdul-Razak Yakubu, alongside Ms Nadia Owusu, Head of Business Development and Communications, and Ms Sivietar Annang, Head of International Cooperation & Partnerships, the Eklips Investment team paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of State for Climate Change and Sustainability at the Office of the President Annex. This engagement underscored the company’s dedication to supporting the government’s efforts to position Ghana as a regional leader in climate resilience and sustainability.

Mr Abdul-Razak Yakubu expressed deep appreciation to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, for prioritising climate change as part of his broader vision to reset Ghana’s economy. He emphasised that Ghana’s leadership in climate action on the African continent would not only strengthen its global positioning but also attract international investments, funding, and technology transfer, fostering economic growth and environmental protection.

As a demonstration of its commitment to this vision, Eklips Investment Ghana Ltd donated computers to the Office of the Minister of State for Climate Change and Sustainability to enhance its research capabilities and institutional strength. This contribution is aimed at supporting efforts in data analysis, policy formulation, and strategic climate initiatives. The company recognises the critical role that technology and research play in developing sustainable solutions for climate adaptation and mitigation.

During the meeting, Mr Yakubu also commended the Honourable Minister of State, Issifu Seidu, and his technical team for their dedication and hard work in repositioning Ghana as a leader in climate affairs. The discussions focused on key priority areas within the Minister’s mandate, highlighting opportunities for collaboration between the private sector and government in driving impactful climate solutions.

Eklips Investment Ghana Ltd pledged its unwavering support to the Minister and affirmed its readiness to establish a strategic working relationship to further Ghana’s climate efforts. The meeting marked the beginning of a collaborative framework aimed at mobilising resources, expertise, and international networks to support Ghana’s transition to a green economy.

This initiative by Eklips Investment Ghana Ltd serves as a clarion call to other private sector players to step up and actively contribute to making Ghana a climate hub in Africa. The company believes that meaningful public-private partnerships are essential in achieving sustainable development goals and addressing climate challenges effectively. By leveraging corporate resources, expertise, and innovation, Ghana’s private sector can play a pivotal role in accelerating the country’s green transformation.

Eklips Investment Ghana Ltd remains committed to fostering impactful collaborations that drive economic growth, environmental sustainability, and international partnerships. The company looks forward to working closely with the Minister of State for Climate Change and Sustainability and other stakeholders in achieving a greener, more resilient Ghana.
