The Street Children Empowerment Foundation (SCEF), in collaboration with Tänzer ohne Grenzen e.V. (Dancers Without Borders, Germany), Dzen Nako Cultural Group and Nurture Nature Foundation is proud to announce its participation in the Global Water Dances 2025, a powerful global movement that uses dance and storytelling to advocate for water protection and environmental justice.
The performance will take place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 9:00 AM, and we are excited to host this milestone event at Accra Arts Centre, Accra.
This international event will be simultaneously celebrated in communities around the world, uniting voices and movements for sustainable access to clean water through the universal language of dance.
Themed “Nu Ji Wala-Water Is Life”, the program will feature; dance, drama, and poetry by 35 street-connected children from Jamestown, traditional performances from the Dzen Nako Cultural Group and with engagement environmental and water rights advocate Nurture Nature Foundation.

This event is not just a performance, but a statement—a call for policy change, community action, and increased awareness on the urgent issue of water protection. It also highlights the resilience and creativity of vulnerable youth whose voices are too often unheard.
