Many singers and rappers showed up at TV3’s premises in Accra to audition for the “reloaded” Mentor.
From far and near, hundreds of people interested in pursuing a career in music were present to showcase their talent to judges with hopes of being selected amongst the Top 12 for the competition.
While some of the rappers and singers who took turns to showcase their act were lucky enough to be okayed for the next stage of the audition process, others failed to impress judges and were shown the door.
The Accra auditions continue on Saturday, October 19 at the TV3 premises.
Auditions have already taken place in Tamale, Takoradi and Kumasi, and some musicians have been shortlisted so far.
TV3 Mentor, which is Ghana’s first music reality show, is back with an all new experience after it went on a six-year break.
The repackaged show is back with new twists and lots of surprises for both contestants and viewers.
At the end of the auditions, 12 contestants will be selected for the competition and they will be mentored by four mentees.
Legendary musician Bessa Simons, singer Adina and hiplife artiste Trigmatic are amongst the four mentors who will be judges on the show.
