Former Black Stars defender John Paintsil has been reassigned to assist Desmond Sakyi Ofei in the national U-20 men’s soccer team, the Black Satellites.
The former Fulham, Leicester City and West Ham United full back, therefore, leaves his previous role as the Assistant Black Stars Coach.
He is expected to continue his coaching development with the national youth setup and will assist the Black Satellites technical team as they begin preparations for next year’s U-20 Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Ghana.
The move forms part of the GFA’s ongoing technical restructuring, which aims to ensure greater focus and efficiency across the various national teams.
