Mohammed Kudus has completed his medicals ahead of a summer move to Ajax in the Netherlands. Terms were agreed between all parties involved in a reported €9 million deal. The midfielder is one of the most talked-about Ghana internationals in the summer transfer window with a reported transfer from FC Nordsjaelland to Ajax. After recording a reduced number of cases in the last update, Ghana’s Covid-19 case count has jumped up marginally again. The latest update, as given by the Director General of the Ghana Health Service (GHS), sees 695 new cases recorded. Persons with disability in the East Gonja Municipality of the Savannah Region have channeled their share of the District Assembly Common Fund into farming. The move, according to leadership of PWDs, will improve the livelihood of beneficiaries and also make them self-reliant. Their share, the Disability Fund, is 3 percent of the District Assembly Common Fund. It is to be used to support Persons with Disability (PWDs) in various assemblies. The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has adjourned the verdict on the case between Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer and the Ghana Football Association (GFA). Osei Palmer was disqualified from the GFA presidential elections by the then governing body of Ghana football, the Normalisation Committee, shortly before the polls. The flagbearer and leader of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has cited the government for bungling up the national response to the coronavirus pandemic. The Electoral Commission, Ghana (EC) has rejected claims that it is using old biometric voter registration (BVR) kits in the ongoing voter registration exercise across the country. For the first time in a while, Ghana has recorded a reduction in the new number of cases of Covid-19. The latest update by the Disease Surveillance Department of the Ghana Health Service (GHS) released on Thursday, July 16 sees the country report 178 new cases. It comes after new cases recently recorded have not been less than 200. The Director Genera of GHS, Dr Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, had observed that the average daily infections have been 400.
