The Minority members on the Communications Committee of Parliament have challenged the authority of the Minister of Communications in writing to the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) to reduce the number of its channels on the National Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) network. Cameroon will not host the mini-tournament to decide the 2020 African Champions League winners, the country has announced. Last month, after assessing the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on African football, Caf said the semi-finals and final would be played in a “Final Four” format in September. The Electoral Commission, Ghana (EC) says it is illegal for any registered voter to guarantee for a prospective applicant if they are not directly related. US President Donald Trump has signed an order to end preferential economic treatment for Hong Kong, after China enacted a new security law there. “Hong Kong will now be treated the same as mainland China,” Mr Trump said.
