Ghana’s active case count on coronavirus has seen a significant reduction in the latest update given by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) on Monday, July 13. The active cases reduced from 4,192 to 3,782 as a result of the huge number of recoveries. The Parliamentary Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Cape Coast North Constituency will have to navigate a legal course in order to be eligible to contest in the December 7 elections. This follows the disqualification of Dr Kwamina Mintah Nyarko, a lecturer of the University of Cape Coast, as a voter. Ivory Coast’s Vice President Daniel Kablan Duncan has stepped down less than a week after the sudden death of Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly.
