A vehicle hit four people after a Dutch music festival in the early hours of Monday, killing one and injuring three before driving away, police say. Hours later police said they had found the van involved in the collision nearby and arrested a suspect. The incident took place at the end of Pinkpop, a three-day festival in Landgraaf in the south of the country, at about 04:00 (02:00 GMT) on Monday. The Duchess of Sussex’s father, Thomas Markle, has revealed his daughter cried when he told her he would not be attending her wedding to Prince Harry. German carmaker Audi’s chief executive, Rupert Stadler, has been arrested, parent company Volkswagen has said. A spokesman for VW said: “We confirm that Mr Stadler was arrested this morning. The hearing to determine whether he will be remanded is ongoing.” Audi has been caught up in the diesel emissions scandal that has plagued VW. Last month, Audi admitted that another 60,000 A6 and A7 models with diesel engines have emission software issues. National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress Kofi Adams says his party is ready to provide “some more documentation” as evidence in the probe of the recently sacked Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), Gifty Klenam. At least eight pedestrians, including some Mexican World Cup fans, were injured after a taxi mounted a crowded pavement in central Moscow. CCTV footage posted on social media showed the car veer out of a queue of stationary traffic and accelerate into pedestrians before coming to a halt.
