President of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi has apologized “unreservedly” to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, ministers and deputy ministers “for indiscretion in associating them with the private conversations on the video”. The apology was contained in his resignation to the Executive Committee of the Association on Friday. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has begun a three-day tour of the Western Region. This follows the completion of a similar tour undertaken in the Brong Ahafo Region from May 18 – 20. Day One of the President’s tour will see him cut the sod for the construction of the 24.3 kilometre Kojina-Chirano-Etwebo Akoti road. He will also launch the Ghana Agriculture Census. World football-governing body FIFA has handed a 90-day provisional ban to embattled Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kwesi Nyantakyi from engaging in any football activity.
