Over 200 final year Junior High School candidates from the Saboba District of the Northern Region who will be taking part in this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) have been successfully evacuated by the Assembly to the examination center in Saboba. Ghana’s Covid-19 deaths have increased by one. From the latest update given by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) on Saturday, September 12, the number of deaths rose from 285 to 286. But a total of 46 new cases confirmed sees the cumulative total cases rise to 45,434. The recoveries-cum-discharges are now 44,342. This has left only 806 cases as active in Ghana. The country first recorded the coronavirus on Thursday, March 12. Since then, it has infected people from across the country. Greater Accra Region has the highest number of cases.
