This weird phenomenon is known as sleep paralysis, where an individual cannot move, speak or react for a brief moment when falling asleep or awakening. It is a transitional state between wakefulness and sleep, which is often accompanied by hallucinations. Hallucinations, such as the presence of someone in the room or someone sitting on your chest, are common and may make it difficult for the person to…

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has given the strongest indication yet that “tough, prudent and innovative” measures will be adopted to restore the country to its economic viability. According to him, the last eight years have seen Ghana’s debt stock rise to 74 per cent of gross domestic product (GDP), a situation that leaves the economy on the brink of collapse. “There is practically no fiscal space left,” he stressed. But the president assured that: “I will not allow the economy to collapse under my watch.” President Akufo-Addo gave this assurance in his maiden state-of-the-nation address to Parliament on Tuesday,…

https://youtu.be/ySbs0a0I-QQ Out of invisible boundaries Africa was needlessly partitioned displacing families and creating an illusion of a different African people. Till today Africa has been unable to erase these invisible lines. The scramble for Africa during the period of New Imperialism between 1881 and 1914 caused the death and denigration of many Africans. Slavery and colonization held back the growth and civilization process of Africans, mentally erasing and blinding Africans of their immense contributions towards humanity. The colonization of Gold Coast by the British for the sake of natural resources and minerals was a difficult moment as the people resisted…
