Minister of Information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has stated that government is set to roll out a new Covid-19 testing system. According to him, the new testing system would give results within 15 minutes. The soldiers who ousted Mali’s President Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta say they plan to set up a civilian transitional government and hold new elections. The Ghana Football Association has rescheduled its annual Ordinary Congress to September 1, 2020 from the initially announced August 27 date. It was earlier announced by the GFA that the Congress was slated for August 27 via video conferencing as part of the Association’s fulfilment of Covid-19 protocol to observe social distancing. However, the gradual ease of the restrictions has paved way for the Football Association to reschedule their Ordinary Congress and announce new measures.
