The National Service Authority (NSA) has released postings for the 2024/2025 service year, a statement issued in Accra last Friday has said. In all 106,22 national service personnel are expected to undertake their mandatory national service for the year. The personnel include the 2024 batch of Ghanaian graduates from all accredited universities in the country, Ghanaians who have completed studies abroad, defaulters and private applicants. Nine workers of the Infix Wood Processing Company at Mim in the Ahafo Region are reported to have perished in an accident that occurred on Goaso-Mim road. An unspecified number of workers at the plywood producing company are said to have sustained various degrees of injuries. It was a head-on collision that involved the company’s bus with registration number AC 775-24 and a tipper truck on Friday morning.
