The Head of the Electoral Commission’s Training Department, Dr Serebour Quaicoe, has clarified that the GH₵0.50 fee for checking voter registration details online is paid to the service providers, not to the EC. A suspected serial killer in Kenya has escaped from custody, prompting a manhunt, police say. In July police said Collins Jumaisi Khalusha had confessed to the murders of 42 women, including his wife, since 2022. The Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) has ended its two-month strike. This decision was announced in a statement released on Tuesday, August 20.
