Information Minister, Mustapha Hamid has maintained that the President’s three-day visit to the Ashanti region has nothing to do with the recent ‘ignoble’ attack by NPP vigilante group, Delta Force, on one of his appointees in the region. President Akufo-Addo is storming the Ashanti region this weekend in a “thank you visit” to the ruling party’s political stronghold. Mr Osei Bonsu Amoah, a Deputy Minister Designate for Local Government and Rural Development, on Thursday, rejected claims of being culpable of revenue loss to the State in contracts to renovate the Accra Sports Stadium and other stadia in 2008.
