Parliament on Wednesday received the report of a five-member committee that investigated a bribery allegations against some members of parliament’s Appointment Committee. The chairman of the ad hoc committee, Joe Ghartey laid the report before parliament for a motion to be moved in order for the house to accept it with the recommendations or reject the report. A missing Indonesian man was found dead inside the body of a python, according to local police. Akbar went missing on Sunday on the island of Sulawesi, after leaving to harvest palm oil. In the search for the 25-year-old, police told BBC Indonesian that they had found a huge snake they suspected had swallowed the man. Stakeholders and industry players have impressed on banks to ensure quick implementation of the reduction in the policy rate to 23.5 percent.
