Parliament on Wednesday received the report of a five-member committee that investigated a bribery allegations against some members of parliament’s Appointment Committee. The chairman of the ad hoc committee, Joe Ghartey laid the report before parliament for a motion to be moved in order for the house to accept it with the recommendations or reject the report. A missing Indonesian man was found dead inside the body of a python, according to local police. Akbar went missing on Sunday on the island of Sulawesi, after leaving to harvest palm oil. In the search for the 25-year-old, police told BBC Indonesian that they had found a huge snake they suspected had swallowed the man. Stakeholders and industry players have impressed on banks to ensure quick implementation of the reduction in the policy rate to 23.5 percent. According to these stakeholders the reduction is a significant one which should reflect in no time.
