The Eastern regional police command has arrested six suspected robbers at Pentuawala and its environs in the Eastern region after three days of operation. They are Emmanuel Amoah, Twumasi Samuel, Kwasi Sokpo, Daniel Bekoe, Divine Modzaka, and Edward Nketiah. Two people are in the custody of the Suhum District Police Command on suspicion of possessing human parts. They were arrested at Densuso a suburb of the Suhum Municipality in the Eastern region upon a tip off. The contractor working on the Kpalbe Community Day Senior High School in the Salaga North District of the Northern Region has removed his equipment from site and abandoned the project. The contractor, Hatoum Construction, a Tamale-based firm was on Thursday February 9, 2017 seen by residents allegedly packing molded blocks meant for the construction of the school into a truck.
