A 33-year-old  outsourced worker of Stanbic Bank Ghana has been declared wanted by the Ghana Police Service for allegedly defrauding scores of customers of the bank of more than GHc 900,000. The suspect, Martha Amakye, who is said to be an outsourced worker from Noswall Management Service, a recruitment agency, absconded after the Financial Crime Control Unit of the bank found out she was involved in some fraudulent transactions. The Kusaug Traditional Council in the Upper East Region has reduced bride price from four cows to two. The decision is to enable the less privileged in Bawku and its surrounding areas to go into marriage. At the 29th Samanpiid Festival, the Regional Minister, Albert Abongo, the Paramount Chief of the Kasaug Traditional Area, Zugraana Naba Asigri Abugrago Azoka for the decision, which he noted, would make marriage attractive.
