Ticketmaster, the company selling seats to the singer’s US tour, cancelled the public sale on Thursday, citing “extraordinarily high demands on ticketing systems and insufficient remaining ticket inventory”. Police searching for writer and broadcaster Nick Fisher have found a body. The 63-year-old BAFTA-winning TV scriptwriter went missing with his dog in Dorset on Tuesday afternoon. TV presenter Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall previously said Mr Fisher was a “dearest friend” and joined the calls for help in finding him. R. Kelly’s former manager has been sentenced to 20 months in prison for stalking and harassing one of the singer’s victims. Donnell Russell pleaded guilty in July to using threats and intimidation to silence one of the women Kelly abused. Using an alias, he published explicit photos of her online in an attempt to stop her testifying against his client. Kelly was ultimately convicted of sex trafficking and racketeering and sentenced to 30 years in prison. The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has been petitioned to investigate the contract between the National Lotteries Authority (NLA) and KGL which came into force in May 2020.
