The Garden City University College (GCUC), has held its 17th Matriculation Ceremony to mark the formal admission of 1,450 fresh students into various programmes for the 2022/2023 academic year. The lawyer for the Finance Minister in Parliament’s censure motion hearing, Gabby Otchere-Darko, has urged the Minority to stop springing surprises in the ongoing proceedings. The Electoral Commission (EC) has expunged names of 17 political parties from its register for breaches under the Political Parties Act 2000, Act 574. The Political Parties Act, 2000 (Act 574) mandates political parties to have offices at the national, regional levels and at least in two-thirds of the districts in the country.
