The Minister for Works and Housing has disclosed that the government has decided to sell the controversial Saglemi Housing Project. Mr Francis Asenso-Boakye says the project will be sold to a private sector entity. According to him, the decision was taken after assessment and the necessary consultations. Artisanal fishermen at the Lower Prampram Beach area of the Ningo-Prampram District are resorting to the use of super (petrol) mixed with other oils, including engine oil, as alternative to premix fuel. An Accra Circuit Court has sentenced a police officer to 12 years imprisonment for assisting an ex-convict, Harold Davies Johnson, to travel abroad without serving his jail term at the Nsawam Prisons.
