A Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kamal Deen Abdullai, has stated that his party has no vigilante groups. The National Commission on Small Arms and Light Weapons has condemned in no uncertain terms the shooting that occurred last Friday at Alabar, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, leading to the arrest of three suspects. The Registrar General’s Department has ordered the Ghana Football Association to remove Ebusua Dwarfs from the upcoming Ghana Premier League season which will be starting in two weeks time. This follows an order from the official liquidator of companies to the Ghana Football Association that the club is in liquidation process and cannot function as an operational entity.
