One person has lost his life in an accident that happened on the Tema Motorway in the early hours of Thursday September 10. The accident happened after the brakes of a Tema-bound trailer truck failed, thereby, running into other vehicles. Fifteen other vehicles also collided injuring four passengers in four different cars. An eyewitness and a driver of one of affected vehicles, Kweku told Tv3’s Josephine Antwi Adjei that the accident occurred at about 5am. Senior lecturer at the political science department of the University of Ghana, Dr. Kwame Asa-Asante, has revealed some propaganda techniques politicians often employ in their campaigns ahead of elections. The senior political scientist, speaking on TV3’s Election Watch Wednesday, September 9, cautioned prospective voters to beware of tricks used by politicians. The national year-on-year inflation rate was 10.5% in August 2020, which is 0.9 percentage points lower than last month. Month-on-month inflation between July 2020 and August 2020 was -0.4%.
