Member of Parliament for the Adaklu constituency, Kwame Agbodza, has accused Akufo-Addo-led  New Patriotic Party (NPP) government of collapsing key sectors of the economy including the aviation sector. The National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) has announced that six persons, including farmers and a three-year-old girl, have died after a downpour in communities in the North-East region of Ghana. The communities mostly hit are in the East and West Mamprusi districts, including Bunkprugu and Janga, the NADMO said. The Confederation of African Football (CA) has said it is ready to assist the Egyptian Football Association to search for the missing African Cup of Nations (AFCON) trophy. Ghana and Leicester City defender, Daniel Amartey, is back to playing football after he suffered an injury in 2018. Amartey got hurt in Leicester City’s Premier League game against West Ham at the King Power stadium when his foot got stuck in the turf while preventing Michail Antonio from scoring.
