Parts of one of the offices of the Electoral Commission, Ghana (EC), located at Sapeiman in the Ga West Municipality, have been gutted by fire. The incident happened in the early hours of Friday, August 14. The office at Sapeiman serves as the Regional Office of the election management body. The inferno, which started around 2.30am, according to reports, destroyed several property belonging to the Commission. Personnel of the Fire Service quickly intervened to douse the inferno.
