The Dynamic Youth Movement of Ghana (DYMOG) has proposed an amendment to Article 62 (b) and other relevant constitutional provisions to reduce the age limit to at least 35 years to qualify to run for the position of a presidentin Ghana. The number of COVID-19 active cases in Ghana has dropped significantly, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) has announced. According to the GHS, Ghana currently has 2,134 active cases from a total of 41,404 infections recorded nationwide with 192 new cases recorded. Minister of Education Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh has indicated that as part of government measures to improve on the quality of basic education in the country, the number of trained teachers supplied to the schools have been increased. The percentage of trained teachers, he added, has also been improved to 88 per cent at the Primary level. A report on the effect of the coronavirus on food supply in Africa which was compiled by the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa, (AGRA) has revealed that stock trends showed a general decrease in commodity stocks across most countries except in Ghana and Togo, where there was an increase in wheat stocks, albeit marginal in Ghana.
