President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has cut the sod for the commencement of the building of a new 400-bed maternity block and 100-bed urology center at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has noted that although emerging market economies have instituted measures to deal with the impact of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) on their economies, the economies remains clouded by considerable uncertainty. The Ghana Police Service has cautioned against explosions at the La Beach in Accra. The Ghana Airport Company Limited (GACL) has said claims by former President John Mahama that an investment of $600 million was made at Kotoka International Airport (KIA), is incorrect.
