The military together with the police Monday arrested hundreds of residents at Dome and Agbogbloshie, in Accra for failing to wear face masks . The arrested residents were forced to sweep the streets and desilt gutters of their respective areas. Military personnel have arrested two persons in Kujokura, a suburb of Damongo in the Savanah Region. The suspects were in possession of four single barrel weapons, four cutlasses and 34 rounds of ammunitions when they were rounded up during a routine patrol of the military. The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has suggested to the government to conduct mass testing for all students and staff who are currently in the Senior High Schools (SHSs) that have recorded cases of the Coronavirus (Covid-19).
