Private Health Facilities Association of Ghana [PHFAOG] has given two weeks ultimatum to government to pay a nine month deferred claims of National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) to all its members or they will withdraw their services. The Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has described as premature a petition by the Minority in Parliament sent to the Auditor-General to conduct a special audit into some ¢280.3 million which the government allocated for relief items during the Covid-19 lockdown. A survivor of the June 3 fire and flood disaster, Kasim Suraj has ventured into rearing of birds and other animals to cater for himself and his family. The Circuit Court in Tamale presided over by William Appiah Twumasi has sentenced Sulemana Danaa, age 25, to ten years imprisonment for defiling a two year old girl at Kumbungu in the Northern Region. He was convicted after pleading guilty to the defilement charge put against him. The recent rains in parts of the country, have caused havoc in the Krowor Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.
