A Deputy Chief of Staff at the Office of the President, Mr. Francis Asenso-Boakye has made a presentation of seven hundred (700) LED streetlights to the Bantama Sub-Metro in Kumasi. The Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) will on Tuesday begin the conduct of a Business Tracker Survey to track the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on businesses in the country. The Western Naval Command at Sekondi in the Western Region has been disinfected against the deadly novel coronavirus as part of Zoomlion Ghana Limited’s voluntary disinfection exercise. The exercise is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility. More than 100 Zoomlion personnel arrived at the Command Monday morning to spray the barracks for personnel, the various offices within the Command as well as the entire premises. A landlord has allegedly murdered his tenant for refusing to vacate a room he has rented to him. Victor Stephen Nana Kankam according to police extract, shot budding musician Spark Benjamine who was rushed to the police station with multiple injuries. The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has dragged the Electoral Commission (EC) to the Supreme Court over the compilation of a new Voters Register. Ghana has called for a collective and coordinated global response to assist vulnerable countries to address the “unprecedented effects” of Covid-19.
