The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has approved a new refereeing structure for the federation. The new structure is to ensure the separation of personnel in the various functions of refereeing in Ghana. Residents of Afigya Kwabre North District have vehemently expressed their displeasure at transport fare hikes by the assembly. A letter signed by the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Francis Asokwa Sarpong, dated 11th May, 2020, noted that new transport fares have been itemized. Authorities at the Tamale Senior High School (TAMASCO) in the Northern Region are crying for help to protect students and staff who have become easy targets for burglars in the metropolis. The students and staff on campus have, the authorities say, have been suffering from the hands of thieves and intruders who frequently break into their dormitories and bungalows to steal various items including cooked food. The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) has revealed that the guidelines the Christian community submitted to government on how to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 was developed at the behest of President Akufo-Addo after a closed door meeting.
