Marriage is never going to be the same again for the two couples who sailed through Connect FM’s Valentine reality show, dubbed Love Connection.
They enjoyed the ultimate prize of spending two romantic nights at Maaha Beach Resort near Atuabo in the Western Region.
Love Connection is a Valentine’s Day radio reality show carved to suit married couples in the Sekondi/Takoradi metropolis and its environs.
The event, which started three years ago, brings together married couples to contest on varying issues about themselves, organizers and sponsors.
It seeks to rekindle love and romance and also give them the opportunity to spend some days outside their homes.
Eight couples participated in this season’s edition but only four made it to the final, which was held on the night of 14th February.
Mr. & Mrs. Armah and Mr. and Mrs. Johnfiah qualified to the final stage after they contested at the penultimate stage on 12th February.
Mr. & Mrs Buabeng and Mr. & Mrs. Asare made it to the final stage as they also intensely contested against Mr. & Mrs. Boakye and Mr & Mrs. Agbesi on 13th February night.
The phase of the competition turned ‘tight and deep’ as the four finalists bit their fingers to answer questions.
All four couples were made to solve a case study involving a scuffle between wife and mother in-law.
At the end, Mr. & Mrs. Armah of Kojokrom managed to secure the first runner-up position while Mr. & Mrs. Buabeng of Effiakuma New Site hooked the title as overall winners for Season III.
The two winning couples made a trip to Maaha Beach Resort as part of a romantic package for the ultimate winners and it was all excitement.
“I must say this is more than our honey moon. Love Connection has really taught us a lot and we know our marriage is positively changing and so we thank Connect FM and the sponsors for putting together this show,” Mr. and Mrs. Buabeng, overall winners, said.
Mr. & Mrs. Armah, on the other hand, were tearing as they entered the guest room decorated with love.
They also appreciated both organizers and sponsors.
All the other contestants received fabric and pizza from Barthana Fabrics and Grillers Fast Food
Love Connection III was sponsored by Maaha Beach Resort at Nzema near Atuabo Ghana Gas, Barthana Fabrics in Takoradi and Grillers Fast Food also in Takoradi.
