Tema-based Delhi Public School (DPS) International has organized its 2020 Inter-House Sports Fest.
The competition provided students an opportunity to imbibe sportsmanship spirit and excel in the field of sport.
The Sports Fest was held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 with great zeal and enthusiasm . The Sports Fest comprised of various competitions among all the 4 houses namely Emerald , Ruby , Topaz and Sapphire.
Students from Grades 6 – A level belonging to their respective 4 houses participated in 100 meters , 200 meters , 400 meters , 4 X 100 metres Relay, Freestyle and Breaststroke Swimming , 4 x 25 m Relay Swimming etc .
Parents and teachers including the Director of DPS International, Mukesh Thakwani too showed their sportsmanship spirit .
The winners were awarded with certificates , medals and Trophies .
The Director of DPSI Mr. Mukesh Thakwani strongly believes in having such competitions to nurtures students overall holistic development. He further congratulated all the winning students for their excellent performance and encouraged others who couldn’t win to try harder next time and declared the Sports Fest closed .
