Former Commander of disbanded pro-New Patriotic Party (NPP) vigilante group Delta Force Kojo Fosu Boadu has been elected as the first of three National Vice Chairpersons of the party.
Kojo Fosu Bamba, as he is affectionately known, polled 3,116 votes to emerge as the 1st National Vice Chairman.
Following him in that race was former National Organiser Henry Nana Boakye.
Nana B, as he is affectionately called, polled 3,061 votes to become the 2nd National Vice Chairman.
Former Communications Director of the party Nana Akomea’s 2,987 votes made him the 3rd National Vice Chairman, sealing off the three places for that position.
As a result, the 10 other contenders failed to secure spots as one of the three National Vice Chairpersons.
They are former Minister of Information Mustapha Abdul-Hamid (2956), Yaa Amponsah Frimpong (1503), Richard Ahiagbah (1001) and Alhaji Masawudu Osman (8900), popularly known as Chairman Buga.
The rest are George Abankwah Yeboah (247), Horma Miezah (232), Samuel Pyne (206), Abena Pokua Boaitey Amoah (194), Richard Oti Aboagye (152) and Bright Esselfie Kumi (51).
Former General Secretary John Boadu beat competition from three others to be elected the National Chairman.
