The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has dismissed media reports that 60 percent of applicants for recruitment tested positive for HIV/AIDS.
This according to the reports was obtained from the medical screening done as part of the process.
However, a press release issued by GAF on Sunday, January 25 said: “The medical screening is ongoing and no results have been declared as at now.”
It described the reports as fake, promising “to trace the originators of the mischievous content”.
“The Ghana Armed Forces once again urges media practitioners especially content creators and bloggers/vloggers to be circumspect and crosscheck their facts before going to press.”
