Ghana has been sanctioned by the world football governing body, FIFA, for breaching articles 5 and 25 of the regulations of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
Ghana is said to have failed to hoist a flag at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the 1-1 Group E draw with Congo.
According to FIFA, there were no flags even flown at the stadium.
FIFA, as a result, slaps the Ghana Football Association with a warning as its sanction.

In a list of sanctions published by FIFA on Monday, Ghana’s Group E opponents Congo and Uganda were also cited for various offences committed earlier during the qualifiers.
Some players were also sanctioned.
The decisions were taken by the Disciplinary Committee of FIFA.
Some are subject to appeal.
