Winner of TV3’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB), Abena, has launched a project to campaign for behavioural change on HIV and AIDs.
The ‘Obaa Nao’ project will be in two phases, the first of which is dubbed “are you aware” and seeks to keep reminding the youth and the elderly that HIV and Aids is still prevalent in Ghana.
The second phase, ‘Gyewo 1’, will focus on carrying out social media campaigns to create awareness about HIV/AIDS as well as see to the distribution of free condoms to propagate the need for people to always get protected.
General Manager in charge of Shared Services at Media General, Winfred Afful, said the Ghana’s Most Beautiful platform is focused on churning out queens who will champion projects that will impact society positively.
He added that the media group comprising of TV3, 3FM, Onua FM, 3news, Connect FM and others will be made available to Abena to carry out her campaign.
Chief of Jumapo,Nana Owusu and the other traditional authorities from Aburi and Adukrom pledged their support to the project.
