Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is continuing his nationwide campaign tour in the Oti Region today, Friday, November 7.
Dr. Bawumia has been on the road in the past three months engaging with New Patriotic Party (NPP) stakeholders in different phases of his campaign, and in his latest phase, which began about a month ago, the former Vice President has been engaging deeply with grassroot members of the NPP at the constituency level.
So far, he has covered constituencies in the Bono, Bono East, Ahafo, Western North and Western regions, and the Oti Region marks his next stop of the campaign, which has been dubbed ‘Our journey together’.
The former Vice President is expected to tour three constituencies on Day 1: Krachi West, Krachi Nchumuru and Krachi East in that order.
Bawumia’s constituency-based campaign has attracted massive enthusiasm among party members and open declaration of support, emphasising his position as the overwhelming favourite to be elected the NPP’s Flagbearer for the 2028 election.
The party will go to the polls on January 31, 2026, to elect its presidential candidate.
