
The Accra International Conference Centre successfully hosted the 5th All Africa Music Awards on Saturday, November 25.
Though the top award went to Nigeria’s Davido, who beat competition from eight others, Ghana was not left out in the roll of award winners.
Stonebwoy received the Best Reggae/Dancehall Artiste award while Shatta Wale’s Gringo video won him the Best Video Award.
Sarkodie’s Glory came tops as the most inspirational song, winning the Best Male Artiste in African Inspirational Music.
Kuami Eugene also bagged one as the Most Promising Artiste.
M.anifest also scooped the Best Artiste Duo or Group in African Hiphop.
Kidi also won the Best Artiste Duo or Group in African Contemporary Music.
The Akwaaba collaboration of GuiltyBeatz, Mr. Eazi, Patapaa and Pappy Kojo won them the Best African Collaboration and Song of the Year.
The legendary Osibisa music group was also awarded one of the two Legend of the Year Awards.
