The road to Qatar 2022 has begun for Africa as 28 nations lock horns to gain qualification into the group stage of qualifiers.
The first legs of 14 first round matches began on Wednesday and will continue till Saturday, when Botswana take on Malawi.
Burundi were held 1-1 by Tanzania in the first African qualifier for Qatar 2022, whose emblem was unveiled on Tuesday, September 3.
Lesotho also went to Addis Ababa to draw goalless with Ethiopia while Namibia went to Eritrea to beat the East Africans 2-1 in other first round qualifiers played on Wednesday.

The second legs will be played between Sunday and Tuesday.
The 14 winners will join 26 teams, which have drawn bye for the second round.
The second round will be played in 10 groups of four.
The winners will play for the five spots available for Africa in home-and-away ties.
