Since its introduction over a decade ago, the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) red carpet is always characterized with excitement, trolls and discussions that linger on even after the main awards ceremony is over.
Most music lovers and the general public always look up to how their favourite celebrities will show up for the awards night.
From who nailed it, to who wore the most ‘awful’ cloth on the red carpet: social media always goes agog with debates and discussions on who dressed best or not to the awards show.
Over the years, the red carpet has had different personalities host it, with each of them coming on board with their own flair and tweak to make the red carpet moment more exciting.
Last year, the eloquent Johnnie Hughes of the Media General Group paired up with Citi FM’s AJ Sarpong to deliver yet another exciting session of the red carpet.
This year, the onus falls on host of 3FM92.7 Drive show, Giovani Caleb to host the 20th edition of the VGMAs.
Giovani comes on board with years of experience in hosting many high profile shows in the country.
He will be posing the most asked question on the red carpet ‘who are you wearing’ with actress and television personality, Sika Osei.
The 20th edition of the VGMA is slated for Saturday, May 18 at the Accra International Conference Centre, and the red carpet will precede the main awards show.
