
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has through parliament, named his second batch of ministerial nominees bringing to about 30, persons who would be working in his administration.
Announcing the names in parliament, the Speaker, Prof. Mike Ocquaye, indicated that the list had been submitted to the house for vetting and subsequent approval.
A 26-member vetting committee was Tuesday constituted by the House to vet the nominees for subsequent approval or otherwise, as ministers for the various portfolios they have been designated for. The Committee is expected to begin work from January 16, 2017.

Prof K. Frimpong Boateng – Science and Technology
Otiko Afisa Djaba – Gender and Social Protection
Ofori Asiamah – Transport
Joe Ghartey – Railway Development
Ursula Owusu – Communications
Samuel Atta Akyea – Minister for Works and Housing
Kofi Addah – Minister for Sanitation
Amoako Attah – Minister for Roads
Ignatius Baffour Awuah – Minister for Employment and Labour Relations
Peter Amewu – Lands and Natural Resources
Dan Botwe – Minister for Regional Reorganisation and Special Projects
