The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has officially confirmed its support for Burniton Music Group as it prepares to stage the much-anticipated BHIM Festival on December 24, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium. The festival, one of the biggest highlights of this year’s “December in GH” lineup, is expected to electrify the capital with top-tier performances from leading Ghanaian and international artistes, all celebrating music, culture and unity.
GTA says the Accra Sports Stadium is fully locked in for the event, with Burniton Music Group set to take over preparations on December 23 to build out the full festival experience.
GTA CEO Maame Efua Houadjeto says the partnership reflects the Authority’s drive to position creative arts and entertainment as major pillars of Ghana’s tourism growth. “Our support shows our commitment to elevating the creative sector,” she said. “December in GH continues to open doors for cultural celebration, community, and tourism.”
According to the Authority, signature events like BHIM Festival help cement Ghana’s reputation as Africa’s go-to destination for festive and cultural experiences. The GTA says it will continue collaborating with industry players to deliver unforgettable moments for the thousands who visit each December.
The BHIM Festival has grown into one of Ghana’s most iconic annual music events, showcasing African talent, creativity and global appeal.
