Sammy Gyamfi, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board (GOLDBOD), is set to deliver a key presentation at the 2025 Dubai Precious Metals Conference (DPMC), where global leaders in the gold and metals industry will gather to discuss the future of the sector.

He is scheduled to speak on Monday, Nov. 24, during the Mining Workshop hosted by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) at The Atlantis, Palm Jumeirah.

This year’s workshop aligns with the conference’s broad theme, “The Future of Precious Metals: Tariffs, Tokenisation and Trade Flows.” The sold-out two-day event, running Nov. 24–25, will convene policymakers, financiers, mining executives, and technology innovators to examine shifting trends in production, regulation, and global market flows.

He will lead a session on “Sourcing Gold from Artisanal and Small-Scale Gold Mines,” a topic of heightening global relevance as countries explore ways to formalize small-scale mining, strengthen compliance, and enhance responsible sourcing.

His participation positions Ghana as Africa’s leading gold producer and a central voice in global conversations about ethical mining and market transparency.

The 2025 edition marks the 13th year of the Dubai Precious Metals Conference, considered one of the most influential forums for strategic dialogue on gold, silver, and other precious metals.

Speakers include World Gold Council CEO David Tait; LBMA Chief Executive Ruth Crowell; DMCC Executive Chairman Ahmed Bin Sulayem; UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi; Shanghai Gold Exchange Chairman Yu Wenjian; and Emirates NBD markets head Zafeer Hussain.

Organizers say DPMC 2025 will address the critical challenges shaping the future of the industry, from geopolitical trade shifts to the rise of tokenized commodities and the evolving role of major gold hubs.

The conference brings together the global precious metals community to exchange insights, set new priorities, and chart the next phase of innovation for the industry.
