Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign tour of the Eastern Region is turning out to be an exercise to consolidate his support in the region.
Dr Bawumia, who is in the Eastern Region campaigning, has so far received tremendous support from members of the party in many constituencies he has visited so far.
On Friday, he was endorsed by a number of party stakeholders in Akuapem North, Akuapem South and Okere.
And on Saturday, Dr Bawumia received another set of endorsements as he continued his tour of the region.
In the New Juaben South Constituency, 30 out of 34 electoral area coordinators pledged their support for Dr. Bawumia.
The 30 electoral area coordinators, who praised the 2024 New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate for his loyalty and commitment to the party, also assured him that they would work very hard for him to ensure a resounding victory for him in January and ultimately in 2028.
