A fatal crash on the Anyinam-Enyiresi stretch of the Accra-Kumasi Highway on Thursday claimed two lives and left 13 others injured.
The Anyinam Fire Station received the emergency call at 09:21 hours and arrived at the scene 15 minutes later with a six-member rescue crew led by LFM Awuku Samuel.
The accident involved a Toyota Hiace (AS-4191-25) and a Honda Pilot (AS-8086-14), both found in the middle of the road after a head-on collision.
The Honda Pilot driver and a female passenger, who were trapped, were extricated and transported to the Enyiresi Government Hospital but sadly passed away on arrival.
