Anthony Joshua called out longtime rival Tyson Fury after stopping Jake Paul by knockout, saying he is ready for a major fight in 2026.
Speaking after the bout, Joshua thanked fans for their support and admitted the performance was not his sharpest, but said the objective was clear. He said the plan was to pin Paul down and hurt him, adding that the decisive right hand eventually “found the destination.”
Joshua praised Paul’s resilience, crediting the YouTuber-turned-boxer for repeatedly getting back to his feet and continuing to compete. He said Paul showed heart despite facing a seasoned professional.
Looking ahead, Joshua said the fight helped shake off rust and sharpen his focus for next year. He challenged Fury to stop trading words online and step into the ring, saying he is ready to face “one of the realest fighters” if Fury is serious.
