The Electoral Commission, Ghana (EC) led by Chair Jean Adukwei Mensa has appeared before the Minister of Finance to review its 2027 budget.
Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson has been hearing from various stakeholders ahead of the 2027 budget delivery.
“Preparations for the 2027 Budget are underway,” he wrote on Saturday, September 5 “with the Electoral Commission taking its turn at the budget hearings.”
The budget is expected to be presented to Parliament in November.
The EC budget is expected to cover funds for the referendum on the constitutional reforms as well as the district level and unit committee elections.
