The Eastern Regional Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kojo Danquah, has declared his intention to contest for the position of Deputy National Communications Officer of the party.
In his declaration of intent, Mr Danquah described communication as the bridge between a political party and its supporters, stressing its importance in articulating the party’s convictions and mobilising members towards collective action.
He said his decision was driven by a deep commitment to the growth and success of the NDC.
“My experience as the Eastern Regional Communications Officer has strengthened my belief that effective communication must be strategic in purpose, united in direction, and rooted in the aspirations of the grassroots,” he said.
Mr Danquah said he hoped to bring his experience, renewed energy and commitment to the national level to help strengthen the party’s communication machinery.
“My ambition is to strengthen our voice, serve a cause and build a communications tradition that truly serves the party and its people,” he added.
